Acute

In this configuration, 15μm thick A-Style Probe model, A1x16-3mm-100-413, is packaged with the OA16 Probe Package for acute use. The package uses an optical fiber an the NeuroNexus optical Coupler(NNC). This electrode has a 3mm long shank with a 100 micron site spacing and 413um² electrode sites.

Chronic

In this configuration, 50μm thick A-Style Probe model, A1x16-5mm-100-703, is packaged with the OCM16 Probe Package for chronic use. This electrode has a 5mm long shank with 100 micron site spacing and 703um² electrode sites.
