A-Style Probes can be built into 3-dimensional arrays with a minimum of 200 μm probe-to-probe spacing.

In this configuration, four A-Style Probes of the same model, A4x4-4mm-200-200-1250, are assembled with the acute 64-Channel Probe Package. This electrode has a total of sixteen 4mm long shanks that are 200um apart. Each individual shank has 4 sites with a 200 micron site spacing and 1250um² electrode site area.

In this configuration, four A-Style Probes of the same model, A4x8-10mm-200-500-703, are assembled with the acute 128-Channel Probe Package. This electrode has a total of sixteen 10mm long shanks that are 500um apart. Each individual shank has 8 sites with a 200 micron site spacing and 703um² electrode site area.
